All musicians need to provide their own equipment and label every piece to ensure that there is no confusion or disputes over ownership. Equipment rentals are available and recommended. Vocalists must provide their own microphone & cable, and lead vocalists must also provide their own practice PA system. For instrument programs, medium sized amps (50 Watt Minimum) and PA systems (80 Watt Minimum) are ideal. Please check on items to bring to a specific session. Overnight students must also bring clothes, snacks, beverages, toiletries and hygiene materials, blankets, watches, keychains, alarm clocks, etc. Bringing extra spending money is encouraged in case students want to buy a pizza at night or need an emergency equipment rental. Lead Vocalists are responsible for providing a practice PA system, cable and a microphone. Backing Vocalists must provide their own microphones, cables, and stands. Any form of vocal amplification is acceptable (e.g. microphone run through a 50-watt or greater guitar amp). Please keep in mind that vocalists must amplify their voice over an entire band for practice purposes. Again, equipment rentals are available.
- Proof of Medical Insurance: No one will participate without this
- Identification (Birth Certificate & Photo ID or Passport)
- Key Deposit (For all programs).
- A check made payable to Power Chord Academy for a refundable key deposit. Details provided in Student Info Packet after registration.
- Completed Medical Form if applicable

- Equipment Extras:
- Instrument: Strings, picks, cords, pedals, drum sticks, extra drum heads, drum floor mats, tuners, etc.
- Extra spending money for pizza, snacks, emergency equipment rentals, etc
- Overnight Students: Clothes, bedding (pillow, sheets, blanket), toiletries, hygiene materials, towels, watch, key chain, snacks, beverages, alarm clock, water bottle, small fan, portable CD/MP3 player if desired, band videos/movies if desired.
- Spiral notebook and pens/pencils
- Tablature/Lyrics/CD of any songs you would like to cover
- PCA 7 Day Commuter Students will need to bring a bag lunch or extra money to purchase meals.
